SIAF 2023: First group of confirmed participants is already known
SIAF 2023, Slovak International Air Fest, is poised to become an extraordinary aviation event, marking significant anniversaries and gathering aviation enthusiasts from across the globe. Taking place on September 2nd and 3rd, 2023, at the Kuchyňa/Malacky Air Base. This grand spectacle is orchestrated by the Slovak Aviation Agency, serving as the primary organizer.
Supported by the Ministry of Defence of the Slovak Republic, who has extended invitations to 24 countries through the Commander of the Slovak Air Force, the event has already secured participation from 11 nations. The illustrious list of confirmed attendees includes our neighboring countries such as the Czech Republic, Austria, and Hungary, as well as prominent nations like Germany, Italy, and France.
The organizers are tirelessly working to curate a remarkable program spanning two action-packed days. Alongside captivating dynamic and static flight demonstrations, the event promises a lot of attractions for families with children. This year, the event will commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Slovak Republic and the 30th anniversary of the Slovak Armed Forces. Moreover, it will pay tribute to the 79th anniversary of the Slovak National Uprising, the 19th anniversary of the Slovak Republic's accession to the European Union and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), and celebrate the Constitution Day of the Slovak Republic.
