Audience could see them at Sliač airbase in the year 2011 performing manoeuvres like "Big roll", "Bell", "Crown" or "Bees heart". They will rank among attractions of International Air Fest Days also this year. On 30-31 August five aircraft with yellow-blue bee camouflage will introduce themselves to all aviation enthusiasts. Baltic bees will arrive with their motto ,"Boys never grow up .... just their toys fly higher" , to perform their show. Baltic Bees!

With this motto members of Baltic Bees are arriving at SIAF 2014. This 5-member avition formation of "bees" is the first professional aerobatic squadron originated in post-Baltic states. Creation of this formation in 2008 resulted from participation in various air shows, displays and air fests organized round the world. Baltic Bees are often invited to various celebrations and anniversaries – Days of a Town, the Day of Independence or birthdays.

The unusual name Baltic Bees originated in effort to form a unique group with the unique personal symbol. The name of the group is reflected in overall appearance of aircraft, uniforms and pilots´ accessories. Pilots with hundreds of flight hours under their belts, aerial combats and mastered aerial manoeuvres are becoming members of the group. Pilots of Baltic Bees offer unique style of piloting and show the highest level of proficiency.

The formation flies aircraft L-39C Albatros produced in the Czech Republic. Nowadays the squadron consists of 5 aircraft. Pilots: Artyom Soloduha, Igoir Yudkin, Anatoly Perekriostov, Alexander Zarinsh and Valery Sobolev have showed their skills and aviation mastery in Latvia, Lithuanua, Estonia, Finland, luxembourg and Poland. The home base of the team is Latvian Jurmala situated 5 kilometres off the airport Tukums.

Despite their young age, Baltic Bees have grabbed many opporunities to show their mastery and draw attraction in various air shows. All members of the group emphasize the importance of precise and long trainings enabling them to perform safe aviation aerobatics. In the sky five yellow-blue bees perform classical shapes and manoeuvres like Greeting, Crown or Bell but also they show attractive unique aerial manoeuvres to audience´s satisfaction.
