Typhoon and Tornado from British RAF will be shown on static displays

Visitors of International Air Fest Days SIAF 2014 on 30-31 August will be satisfied. Except mastery of the pilots in the sky over Sliač their attention will be attracted by several interesting aircraft on static display. From RAF of Great Britain it will be the most powerful and the most reliable swing-role fighter Eurofighter Typhoon and a two-seat combat aircraft with variable-swing wings Tornado GR4.

Eurofighter is modern two-engine multirole jet fighter developed in cooperation of Great Britain, Germany and Italy. Aircraft in service of RAF (Great Britain), Luftwaffe (Germany), Aeronautica Militare (Italy), Ejército del Aire (Spain), Osterreichische Luftstreitkrafte (Austria) and Al-Quwwat al-Jawwiyya al-Sa´udiyya (Saudi Arabia). For the first time the aircraft took off on 8 August 1986 and became the state of the art aircraft in Great Britain. Typhoon FGR4 is a multirole aircraft.

The latest technology and comfort is included into this jet fighter. Front additional wings are used for creating better upword lift, better maneuverability and climbing. "Notches" on the leading edges of both main wings also contribute to better maneuverability.

Tornado GR4 is two-seat variable-swing wing combat and surveillance aircraft developped by the international syndicate Panavia. It belongs to jet fighters capable to fly in low flight level, during day and night and also in bad weather conditions. They have been in service of RAF more than 30 years. Thanks to many developments takes the first position among all combat aircraft.
