Leonardo virtually introduces its best technologies for Slovakia at SIAF 2020.

Looking forward to fly real aircraft soon.

Leonardo Aircraft’s technologies are virtually flying in Slovakia this year as the company participates in the virtual airshow with two products.

The first is the C-27J Spartan, already well known in the country and now more than ever as a truly multi-mission aircraft, supporting military and civil operations: from tactical airlifter to C3ISR, FireFighting and also employed by its operators in COVID-19 emergency support missions.

The second is the M-345 basic/advanced jet trainer. Already displayed in Slovakia as a prototype at last year's SIAF airshow, the first series are now entering into service with its first customer, the Italian Air Force. A new generation jet at the top of its class in terms of performance and efficiency, with acquisition and operational costs comparable to turboprops. The M-345 provides unrivalled training effectiveness and is the best solution for the Slovak Air Force requirements thanks to a fully developed new generation Integrated Training System that also includes Live Virtual Constructive (LVC),  the capability to integrate the in-flight aircraft with on ground simulators and inserted virtual "friend" or "foe" elements, exposing the future pilot to the complexity of every possible operational scenario.
