Arrival Instructions

Parking lots during SIAF 2023 will be open from 8:00 am. The airport gates open at 9:00 am. The flight programme starts at 10:00. The program is scheduled to end at 17:15. The flight programme lasts without a break, except for the interval from 13:00 to 13:30, when there will be demonstrations on the dynamic polygon.

By car and motorcycle

From Kúty

• On the D2 motorway will be directed to the exit from the motorway (Exit 29) in the direction of PERNEK / ZÁHORSKÁ VES / MALACKY, GPS: 48.430260, 17.042440.
• Then to the left in the direction of PERNEK, GPS: 48.428850, 17.040380 to the second class road No. 503.
• Then to the left in the direction of PERNEK, GPS: 48.428850, 17.040380 to the second class road No. 503; then to the left to the temporary tertiary road UK 05, GPS: 48.382020, 17.114350 and/or UK05, GPS: 48.384060, 17.109760.
• Then to the parking area Parking Lot (Parkovisko) P1 (if the parking lot P1 is full, to parking lot P2 via the tertiary road UK 01 and if the parking lot P1 and P2 is full they will be redirected to the overflow parking lot P5 or to the overflow parking lot P3 via tertiary road UK 01 and UK 02).
• The entry to the Kuchyňa Airport area for pedestrians will be through the SOUTH Gate (Brána JUH).
• If visitors pass the motorway exit (Exit 29) in the direction of PERNEK / ZÁHORSKÁ VES / MALACKY, they will be directed to the motorway exit (Exit 41) in the direction of ZOHOR / LOZORNO, where they will follow the route together with visitors coming from the south from Bratislava on the D2 motorway.

From Bratislava

• On the D2 motorway will be directed to the exit from the motorway (Exit 41) in the direction of ZOHOR / LOZORNO, GPS: 48.322380, 17.023110 to the first class road Nr.:2.
• Then to the left in the direction of PERNEK / LOZORNO, GPS: 48.324940, 17.029350 to the second class road No. 501.
• In the municipality of Pernek, to left in the direction of MALACKY, GPS: 48.368500, 17.139700 to the second class road No. 503.
• Ďalej doprava na účelovú komunikáciu UK 01 /GPS: 48.379460, 17.120260/.
• Then to right to the tertiary road UK 01, GPS: 48.379460, 17.120260, and then to the parking area Parking Lot (Parkovisko) P2 (if the parking lot P2 is full, to the overflow parking lot P5 or to the overflow parking lot P3 via the tertiary road UK 01 and UK 02).
• The entry to the Kuchyňa Airport area for pedestrians will be through the SOUTH Gate (Brána JUH).
• If visitors pass the motorway exit (Exit 41) in the direction of ZOHOR / LOZORNO, they will be directed to the motorway exit (Exit 29) in the direction of PERNEK / ZÁHORSKÁ VES/ MALACKY, where they will follow the route together with visitors coming from the south from Kúty on the D2 motorway.

From Trnava

• On the D1 motorway will be directed to the exit from the motorway (Exit 23) in the direction of SENEC / PEZINOK, GPS: 48.238130, 17.369580.
• Then to the right in the direction of PEZINOK, GPS: 48.237900, 17.365090 to the second class road No. 503.
• In Pezinok to the right in the direction of MALACKY, GPS: 48.288888, 17.279691 on the second class road No. 502.
• Then to the right in the direction of MALACKY / PERNEK, GPS: 48.298404, 17.281190 to the second class road No. 503.
• In the village of Pernek, to the right in the direction of ROHOŽNÍK / KUCHYŇA, GPS: 48.367580, 17.143930 to the second class road No. 501.
• Then approximately in the middle between the municipalities of Pernek and Kuchyňa to the tertiary road UK 02, GPS: 48.388760, 17.15506.
• At the intersection with the tertiary road UK 03 to the tertiary road UK 03, GPS: 48.393100, 17.127170.
• Then to the parking area Parking Lot (Parkovisko) P4 (if the parking lot P4 is full, the participants will be redirected from the tertiary road UK 03 to parking lot P3).
• The entry to the Kuchyňa Airport area for pedestrians will be through the NORTH Gate (Brána SEVER) (For those parking in the P3 parking area through the SOUTH Gate).

From Senica

• On the first class road No. 51 will be directed in the municipality of Jablonica to the second class road No. 501 in the direction of ROHOŽNÍK, GPS: 48.606650, 17.42077.
• Then to the right in the municipality of Kuchyňa to the tertiary road UK 04; GPS: 48.406380, 17.154640.
• Then to the parking area Parking Lot (Parkovisko) P4 (if the parking lot P4 is full, the participants will be redirected to the parking lot P3 via the tertiary road UK 03).
• The entry to the Kuchyňa Airport area for pedestrians will be through the NORTH Gate (Brána SEVER) (For those parking in the P3 parking area through the SOUTH Gate).

From Smolenice

• On the second class road No. 502 will be directed after the municipality of Vinosady to the right to the second class route No. 501 in the direction of PERNEK / MALACKY, GPS: 48.302970, 17.282650.
• Then together with motorized visitors from the direction of Trnava (point c.) to the parking area Parking Lot (Parkovisko) P4 (if the parking lot P4 is full, participants will be redirected from the tertiary road UK 03 to parking lot P3)
• The entry to the Kuchyňa Airport area for pedestrians will be through the NORTH Gate (Brána SEVER) (For those parking in the P3 parking area through the SOUTH Gate).

Motorcyclists and group bus tours are advised to use the reserved parking lot for buses and motorcycles – the A+M Parking Lot.

Some good advice for motorized visitors

• we ask motorized visitors to follow the designated directions of arrivals to individual parking areas. We will thereby minimize the creation of traffic queues on access roads;
• we ask motorized visitors not to unreasonably block the entrances and exits of designated parking areas with their motor vehicles;
•  we ask motorized visitors to follow the instructions of the organizing service in the parking areas. In the case of disobeying the instructions issued by the organizing service in the parking areas, such visitors will not be allowed to park in the parking areas;
• we recommend that you do not leave valuable items in the vehicles, because the parking areas are not guarded by the organizing service;
• we warn motorized visitors to lock their vehicles and at the same time secure the vehicle against theft .

Warning

Visitors arriving at the Slovak International Air Fest (SIAF) 2023 by motor vehicles from Pezinok, Lozorno and Kuchyňa will pass through a railroad crossing; therefore, it is necessary for them to be extremely careful, especially to see if they can pass safely.

Upon arrival at and departure from the air event, the driver must not enter the railroad crossing if:

• a warning is given by two red alternating intermittent lights of the railroad crossing safety device,
• a warning is given by the intermittent sound of the horn or the bell of the railroad crossing safety device,
• one can already see or hear a train or another railway vehicle, or if one can hear in particular its honking or whistling,
• the situation at or behind the railroad crossing does not allow him to cross it safely and continue driving.

Information for holders of a VIP invitation and a purchased VIP ticket

• Invited guests and visitors with a purchased VIP ticket / motorized VIP visitors arriving on the D2 motorway from both directions have to use the exit from the motorway (Exit 29) in the direction of PERNEK / ZÁHORSKÁ VES / MALACKY, GPS: 48.430260, 17.042440;
• then turn right in the direction of MALACKY to the second class road No.: 503;
• then turn right in the direction of SENICA / ROHOŽNÍK, to the second class road No. 590;
• then turn right in the direction of ROHOŽNÍK, to the third class road No.: 1113;
• then in the municipality of Rohožník turn right in the direction of PERNEK, to the second class road No. 501;
• then turn right in the municipality of Kuchyňa to the tertiary road UK 04; GPS: 48.406380, 17.154640, then to the Kuchyňa Gate (Brána Kuchyňa) - north, through which they will reach the VIP parking lot in the Malacky Air Base;

• The VIP invited guest will go to the VIP reception to register the entry. A visitor with a purchased VIP ticket will go to the VIP pre-sale reception to register entry.

• It will be used only in case of filling up of Parking lot P4 or in case of formation of traffic jams on UK 03 and road II/501.

It will only be used if Parking Lot P1, P2 and/or P3 and/or P4 is full.

VIP + PRESS parking lot

Reserved parking for VIP visitors and for journalists and media representatives with valid accreditation issued by the organizer of the public aviation event MLD-SIAF 2023.

• Surface: permanent grass area in the premises of Malacky Air Base.

Warning

We would like to warn visitors that the parking lots are on adjusted agricultural land, so that access to the temporary parking area is at your own risk. The organizer is not responsible for damage caused to a motor vehicle.

By historic train

On the occasion of the International Aviation Days SIAF 2023 in Malacky, the Friends of Railway History Club in Bratislava decided to offer technology admirers the opportunity to combine the beauty of historical and modern technology. For both days of the International Aviation Days, an extraordinary train will be dispatched from Bratislava Central Station, headed by steam locomotive 555.3008, which celebrates its 80th birthday this year.

Train departure

From Bratislava - Main Station: both days at 08.40 a.m. with a stop in Devínská Nová Ves and Zohora (where the steam locomotive will move to the opposite end of the train set), followed by a departure to Kuchyňa station, from where it is possible to reach Kuchyňa Airport by a short walk. The train is scheduled to leave again after the programme at the Airport at 5.30 pm.

By bicycle

For those who decide to use bicycle transport to visit the SIAF 2023, there will be reserved places at the entrance gates within the airport area. You can store and lock your bikes here. However, this area will not be specially guarded.

Severely disabled persons

Dear visitors, the entry to the airport area is also on unpaved surfaces. Barrier-free sanitary facilities are available for the severely disabled. Not all parts of the Malacky Kuchyňa Airport where visitors are allowed are on paved surfaces. We therefore recommend that severely disabled persons come to SIAF 2023 with an escort.

A part of the parking area in parking lot P4 will be reserved for severely disabled persons - immobile, moving in a wheelchair.

A properly marked vehicle will be allowed to enter this parking space, after proving the immobility of the person being transported. Subsequently, such a person will go to the gate marked as North Gate Kuchyňa (Brána sever Kuchyňa), intended for the entry of motor vehicles, where the organizer will ensure the passage of the immobile visitor on the paved surfaces to the airport's spectator area after checking the tickets. At the barriers in the spectator zone, there will be a reserved space for severely disabled persons - immobile visitors.

Refreshments

Refreshments are available for visitors to this year's SIAF 2023 in one main line of gastro stands. The zone with dispensation of various types of food and snacks will be completed by rest areas equipped with beer sets and umbrellas

Beverage zone

This year, too, we have decided to continue with the successful concept of building a beverage zone, which will be located in the central part of the airport area. Only drinks will be sold there so that visitors can have quick and comfortable refreshments.

Food

Like every year, the emphasis is also on a wide range and variety of food and drinks on offer. Hot and cold dishes, grilled specialties and homemade bakery products will be on offer. When choosing the assortment of sales stands, we also thought of vegetarians and children.

Products of our partners

Each sales stand will also include the sale of beverages from the product portfolio of the air fest's partners: Urpiner Brewery and the company Budiš. For coffee drinkers, quality coffee from the Aalbatros company will be available in the airport area. Visitors to this year's air fest will be able to refresh themselves with frozen products from Algida, which will also be available in all sectors.

Hygiene

As in previous years, strict adherence to hygiene regulations is a matter of course. Each seller will have a medical certificate and complete all necessary training. The level of catering services will thus be at a professional level again. We believe that this year's event will improve also in the area of selling refreshments.

Tent camp

An easy and inexpensive option to attend SIAF 2023 throughout the weekend is to camp individually in the reserved areas directly at the southern part of the airport complex. The area for individual camping is prepared to satisfy all interested parties. Camping in the reserved area is for SIAF 2023 visitors only. The reserved area is equipped with sanitary facilities and a cistern with drinking water.

The reserved area is open to the public from 01.09.2023 from 12.00 noon to 04.09.2023 until 12.00 noon.

Tent camp (ST)

• Dedicated space for tent camp and caravans.

Notice

Camping outside the designated areas is prohibited. Tents pitched outside the designated area will be packed up and temporarily stored with the organiser of the public aviation event. Once identified, the owners can pick them up at a designated location.

It is forbidden to light fires, use cookers with open flames, use explosives and release balloons, kites, kites, drones, etc. in the designated camping area. The area will be monitored by the SBS, the Slovak Police and the Military Police.

What not to bring

• No entry with a living animal
• Entry with an animal is prohibited at SIAF 2023.
• Prohibition of entry with objects capable of independent floating
• Entry to SIAF 2023 with balloons, model airplanes and objects capable of floating and flying independently is prohibited.
• No entry with a bicycle (segway, scooter, etc.)
• Entry to SIAF 2023 with a bicycle or another motorized or non-motorized vehicle moving with the help of human or animal power is prohibited. At the entrance gates in the area of the public air event, there are unguarded spaces for storing bicycles.
• No entry with alcoholic beverages

Entry to SIAF 2023 with alcoholic beverages is prohibited.

Prohibited objects

• Firearms: any weapon from which a cartridge can be fired using the force of an explosion, air pressure or gas, including starter and signal pistols.
• Knives and cutting tools: including sabres, swords, cutters, hunting knives, souvenirs, hand martial arts tools, professional tools and other knives with a length of 6 cm or more, or knives that are considered illegal by law. Sticks: batons, wooden batons, baseball bats, etc.
• Explosives, ammunition, incendiary substances, corrosive substances: any explosive or incendiary components, the spontaneous activation of which or activation in conjunction with other objects can cause an explosion or fire. These include explosives, explosive capsules, fireworks, kerosene, other incendiary substances, ammunition, etc., or any combination of these substances and materials. Furthermore, any corrosive or toxic substances, including gases, either compressed or non-compressed.
• Paralyzing or stunning agents: all types of tear gas, narcotic gases, similar chemicals and gases that are in guns, canisters, or other containers and other paralyzing devices such as electronic stun/shock devices.
• Other objects: (e.g. laser devices of all categories, ice crushers, climbing aids, razors, extended scissors) although not normally considered lethal weapons, they may be used as weapons or dangerous objects.

Every visitor will be subject to a security check. The visitor will have to hand over prohibited objects without the possibility of returning the prohibited object . Unless the visitor hands over the prohibited item, he will not be allowed entry to SIAF 2022.

Important Warning

Dear visitors, apart from the official program, any form of presentation of political parties and movements, as well as non-political organizations, is prohibited at the public aviation event SIAF 2022

Important warning

The surrounding land around the Malacky Kuchyňa Airport is located in the Záhorie Military District.

Depending on the use of the territory by the forces involved in the provision of the tasks of defence and security of the State, a temporary or permanent ban on entry may be declared on the territory of the military district or on a part thereof.

Temporary prohibition of entry shall apply pursuant to § 9a (1) to the territory of the Military District of Valaškovce and the territory of the Military District of Záhorie in times of military operations, exercises, during the performance of activities that threaten the life and health of persons and in times of crisis.

From 31.8.2023 to 4.9.2023, activities related to the provision of the SIAF 2023 International Aviation Days will be carried out with the use of the premises of VVP Kuchyňa. The premises of VVP Kuchyňa - Aerial Firing Range "B", Infantry Firing Range "A" together with the adjacent area and the immediate surroundings of the Kuchyňa airfield will be used for possible emergency situations and dropping of designated material from the aerial equipment.

During the International Aviation Days SIAF 2023, the provisions of § 9a (l), (3), (4) and (5) and 9b of Act No 281/1997 Coll. apply to the access to these areas and the adjacent areas. on military districts.

According to the project documentation, the above-mentioned premises during the SIAF International Aviation Days are part of the 'display area', in which the life and health of natural persons moving in the adjacent areas of the infantry firing range 'A' and the aerial firing range 'B' of VVP Kuchyňa may be endangered.

We also warn visitors of the public aviation event SIAF 2023 to respect the private property of the owners of land in the vicinity of the airport. Violations of private property (entry, parking) will be dealt with by the owners (tenants) of the land in cooperation with the Slovak Police Force.
